LDS II Residence by Davidov Architects

Leady mid-century streetscape

Set within Caulfield North’s leafy mid-century streetscape, LDS II Residence by Davidov Architects thoughtfully unites two adjacent homes into a single cohesive family residence. Rather than expanding outward, the project reworks and reconnects the existing structures through a series of carefully considered interventions — introducing light, flow and a renewed sense of openness throughout.

Original parquetry flooring, stone and brass detailing are preserved and reinterpreted alongside contemporary additions, creating a home that feels deeply layered yet refined. Central courtyards, illuminated ceilings and filtered light work together to soften the interiors, while a warm material palette of oak, travertine and marble reinforces the home’s calm and grounded atmosphere.

Within this setting, our Linen Stripe hand towel and archival Fawn bath towels introduce softness and tonal warmth. The subtle texture of the linen stripe pairs effortlessly with the richness of timber and stone, while the muted hues of the Fawn collection echo the home’s earthy, mid-century palette.

A home shaped by continuity, craftsmanship and quiet material depth.
