Nareeb House by Studio 11:11

A home defined by contrast

Nareeb House is a study in light and shadow, where spatial depth is shaped through the careful balance of illumination and restraint. Drawing inspiration from Jun’ichirō Tanizaki’s In Praise of Shadows, the home explores how absence of light can create atmosphere, intimacy and quiet drama.

A central courtyard anchors the design, drawing natural light deep into the home while more private spaces are softened through diffused illumination. A palette of stone, timber and earthy textures reinforces this interplay — monolithic forms set against finer, tactile details to create a layered and contemplative interior.

Within this setting, our Ecru Stripe hand towel introduces a subtle rhythm of texture. Its soft, woven pattern complements the tonal material palette, adding a gentle, everyday tactility to the home’s refined spaces.

A home defined by contrast — where light, shadow and material exist in quiet harmony.
