A refined celebration of Art Deco architecture, Toorak Home by Hecker Guthrie honours the grandeur of its 1930s origins while introducing a contemporary sense of ease and liveability. Through sweeping curves, rich materiality and a carefully layered palette, the home balances heritage character with modern sophistication.
Originally designed by renowned architect Marcus Martin, the residence has been thoughtfully reimagined to enhance flow, light and connection. Curved detailing, steel-framed glazing, polished plaster walls and expansive natural stone surfaces create a series of spaces that feel both elegant and inviting. Throughout, craftsmanship and restraint take precedence, allowing each material and form to speak for itself.
Featured within the project, Looms' Ecru Stripe Collection complements the home's warm, textural palette. The collection's subtle woven detailing and natural tones sit comfortably alongside the rich oak flooring, sculptural stone and refined finishes, adding a layer of softness to the home's timeless interiors.
