Architectural precision
Defined by strong geometries, clean lines and a seamless connection to landscape, Toorak Residence by Hecker Guthrie balances architectural precision with a sense of warmth and ease. Inspired by Brazilian modernism, the home unfolds as a series of sophisticated volumes wrapped around a meticulously designed garden and pool, creating a constant dialogue between inside and out.
A restrained palette of hand-charred timber, stone and glass allows light, shadow and materiality to take centre stage. Throughout the home, carefully considered joinery, expansive glazing and sculptural forms reinforce a sense of openness, while more intimate spaces offer moments of retreat and reflection.
Featured within the project, Looms' Navy & Cream Collection introduces a subtle coastal sensibility that complements the home's refined material palette. The rich navy tones and soft cream detailing sit naturally amongst the warm timber finishes and considered architectural forms, adding texture and depth to the bathroom spaces.
A sophisticated family home where architecture, landscape and craftsmanship exist in perfect balance.
